my car has been dieing on me when i have my ac on and im at a rest either at a light or maybe just leaving the parking lot it also jerks when driving with the ac on and I've been looking at the acceleration gauge when it happens and it seems to jump back down and up then picks back up when i dont have the ac on it saeems to be fine can you please help me diagnose this problem

It sounds to me like the airconditioner compressor is binding up inside.  I would take it in and get the compressor checked really soon.  If it shells it could throw the belt and leave you stranded.  Also, with the system still working it will be much cheaper to get it repaired.  That is, if the compressor shells it will throw metal through the system causing more parts to be replaced.
