can i set the a/c of a Nissan maxima 97 lower than 65?because is automatic and the 65 is not enough,

If 65 is the lowest setting that is as low as the computer will show.  However, the real temperature, at the evaporator core is around 34 degrees.  You should have your system checked to make sure the pressures are correct for the low and high side.  Also, get simple green and spray the radiator and condenser, at the front of the car and wach them with water.  Also, be sure the electric fans kick on when the airconditioner is activated.  All of these will aid in cooling the car down.  If you want to go further you could insulate the blower case and firewall, kick panels, door panels and ducts to aid in even more cooling.  Lastly, get the windows tinted to reduce the thermal load.  I live in Las Vegas and have done all of these to all of my cars.
