Nissan Repair: A/C controls, nissan sentra, hazard switch

Question
Hi,
Could you tell me how I would access the heat/A/C control in order to remove it on a 2001 Nissan Sentra.
Much appreciated and a great service.
Thanks

Answer
Leo,

If you are looking at removal of the center section of the dash to gain access by using the following:

Remove upper cluster lid C by firmly grasping and carefully pulling rearward from instrument panel.
Disconnect hazard switch connector.
Remove lower cluster lid C by firmly grasping and carefully pulling rearward from instrument panel.

Remove six screws and remove audio unit and storage bin/CD changer as an assembly.
Disconnect audio unit connectors.

Do not pry or forcibly remove heater A/C control bezel from audio unit face plate or audio unit damage could result.

Release two tabs using a screwdriver and carefully remove heater A/C control bezel from audio unit face plate.
