Nissan Repair: Nissian 200sx SE-R window problem, nissian 200sx, switch assembly

Okay, so I have been handed down my brothers Nissian 200sx SE-R, and I love the car, but it is getting kinda old. Its a 98, i believe bc they only made the cars a certain amount of years before it was called the Sentra, But i have a problem with my drivers side window. At first I thought it was off the track bc it wont work, but then I took off the panal, and discovered that the passenger window switch, has a little metal slip, that clicks whenever you press the button up or down.  The problem is my drivers side window does not! Can you even buy that part to replace? ITs just a little metal and I do not want to pay a lot of money to get it fixed. any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Chelsea -

That spring is included with the purchase of the switch and usually not sold separate. Has it dropped between the panel on the bottom of the door? Perhaps it is there. Had to go someplace -

Otherwise the switch assembly has to be purchased and installed.
