Nissan Repair: 1990 Nissan Maxima, nissan maxima, hi bob

What is the easiest/best way to remove Heater unit from behind the Dashboard.  Is it possible to remove without virtually dismantling the whole dashboard.

Hi Bob -

First of all I apologize deeply for not responding sooner. My computer was down for the last week, and I feel so lost - hehe.

Anyway, the heater core possibly can be removed by taking out the ductwork for the A/C system for access (passenger side). Also, the glove box may have to be removed as well. With that, you can get to the mounting bolts to remove the core.
