hi.

I've serviced my car already but the service engine light is still on. what may be causing that

Hi Brian -

This light is caused by one of many sensors in your engine that monitor operation. Most of the time they are minor and do not need much attention, however it should be checked. There is a special diagnostic machine that plugs into the car's computer and that will tell you what is wrong.

Usually a repair shop has that capability.
