Nissan Repair: nissan vanette radiator, nissan vanette, radiator hoses

can u tell me the easiest way to change a radiator on a nissan vanette L reg 1994? i can just about see the bolts but looks impossible to do without major upheaval. hope u can help thanx

Hi Jo -

The radiator is held to the frame by 4 10mm bolts. If you car is automatic, then you will also have to remove the transmission cooler lines once you get the shroud out of the way. Basic instructions are to remove the fan, then the fan shroud (or at least get it out of the way). Once that is done, remove the radiator hoses and the transmission cooling lines at the radiator. Finally, the 4 hoild down bolts for the radiator comes out, and then you can slide the radiator right out.

These are just general instructions. I am sorry, but we do not have Vanettes where I live, so I am just guessing. If you send me a picture, I can be of more help -
