Nissan Repair: Instrumental Display, 2004 nissan pathfinder, nissan pathfinder

Question
QUESTION: The display lights for my heating and air unit as well as the stereo do not work. My vehicle is a 2004 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum Edition. Which fuse should I check and where is the fuse located?

ANSWER: Hi Dusty -

The fuse is located under dash driver's side. Should be labeled "inst" or "pnl" something to that effect.

Unless all the instrument lights are off, it is probably not the fuse.

Probably expect replacing the bulb(s). The front panel needs to be removed to access. The A/C panel should just snap off, and then you can get to the bulbs behind it.

Hope this helps -

QUESTION: I just realized that my tail lights aren't working either. Is it possible that they are on the same fuse?

Answer
Hi Dusty -

I don't think it is on the same fuse, however, why don't you check them all anyway? The best way is to get a probe type light circuit tester and touch each terminal of the fuses to see if there is power. If one side has power and the other not, then you have found the problem.

Are the brake lights working? Did you check the bulbs just in case? Could be the second filament that the tail lights are on.

Hope this helps -
