I was told I have a knock sensor malfunction in my 1997 Nissan pathfinder, Is this an expensive repair?

Under $500 bucks since the intake has to be removed to get access to the part.  Check around to find the best deal on the knock sensor replacement.  If you can do it yourself the part can be obtained from rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com for much less than a local parts store.
