Nissan Repair: Nissan Frontier crew cab 2007, nissan frontier crew cab, vehicle speed sensor

I just got a new Pioneer in dash navigation / CD. Do you know where the speed and directional indicator wires go? They run from the dash unit to the truck. The Geek squad guy at Best Buy said that they might go to an ECU behind the dash. Is this right?

The Pinoeer installation manual suggests where to pick up these signals.  You could try at the ECM for ease of access.  But, you will need a really good schematic from Nissan to splice into the right wires.  I would pull the cluster and get a Haynes Manual for the wiring diagram.  The vehicle speed sensor comes up to the cluster as does the turn signals.  Now, if the Geek Squad guy knew which wires to splice into you might have a little less work at the ECM.  But, I would make sure before I did anything to the ECM.
