Disconnect the battery first and then disconnect the wires to the alternator, taking note as to where they connect.  Then, loosen the alternator belt and remove the two bolts holding the alternator on.  If the replacement alternator does not have a pulley have your old one put on the replacement alternator.  Reinstall the alternator and connect the wires before you reconnect the battery.  Make sure the battery is fully charged as not to damage your new alternator.
