Answer
Jill,

If the window will go down and not up means it is most probably the master switch, on the driver's door.  Replace the master switch and it should roll up.  A Haynes Manual is a great investment for diagrams and instructions for things like the door.  rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com are good sources for parts.  But, the switch will be under $100 bucks at most parts stores.  To get the switch out you just need to remove the scred in the door handle cup, that you pull on when you shut the door.  Now, lift the assembly up and back that is part of the master switch assembly.  Unplug the switch and perform the replacement.  Removal of the door panel, if you want, is more invloved.  You need a putty knife or such to pry the panel off, from bottom to top.  Remove the leading edge screw first and the red reflector first, along with the master switch and that screw we mentioned before.  Once the panel has been removed, lift it up and over the door/window sill and unplug the remaining connectors.  There is plastic that covers the holes that will have to be removed to gain access.  And, there are three or four bolts, depending on your model that hold the window regulator to the door.  Someone will have to hold the glass while you remove the assembly.  Then, fish it through one of the holes and replace the motor and reinstall the assembly to the door and glass.  Just giving you the directions for your knowledge.  Really, it should only be the switch.
