Nissan Repair: 1992 grinding/rubbing noise, nissan 4x4, 4x4 truck

I just got a 1992 nissan 4x4 truck.It runs fine,but in first and second gear when i let off the gas. It has a grinding/rubbing noise. Then when i give it gas or put it in neutral the noise goes away.

Hi Jeff -

Have you checked transmission fluid levels of your car? If your car is manual shift, then check the manual trans oil level from the side of the trans.

It also could be driveshaft bearings, have you checked those?
