I LOVE THIS CAR :(

ANSWER: Rigoberto,

First, get the codes checked at Autozone or Checker for free.  Then email the codes to me and we'll go from there.  Yes, I would bet the plugs or injectors are doing strange things.  Email me back and we'll know for sure...

ANSWER: Rigoberto,

If the car smokes you need to do a compression check on cylinder four (4) since that is where the problem seems to be.  If you replaced the plugs did you notice if number 4 had oil on it?  If so, you are looking at broken piston rings or a bad valve guide.  That would explain the oil and smoke.  If the coil is defective you can check it by switching it with another cylinder and see if the problem follows the coil to where you moved it to.  Once you move the coil, disconnect the battery to clear the codes and drive it.  If the code returns go to Autozone for another code reading and find out if the misfire is now where you mived the coil to.  If not and it is the number 4 you know you have a piston ring or valve problem with number four.  Also, courtesyparts.com is a great place to source parts that are much less expensive than the dealer.

QUESTION: ooo i forget something ok but my car smokes alot but white smoke, not black, i told the white smokes means gas and black means oil so if is white is not a piston ring?? because is not oil, is gas??? or not?? so my car smokes alot but white smoke PLS HELP!! THK U

Answer
Rigoberto,

White smoke usually indicates that there is water in the exhaust.  Blue would be oil.  That is, it is a blue/white smoke.  Black would be an overly rich mixture.  You could either have a leaky injector that is fouling the plug, water getting in the combustion chamber or the ring or valve condition.  The only way to know for sure is to pull the plug and perform a compression test.  Also, a leakdown test on the fuel injectors to see if one is stuck open.
