Nissan Repair: micra 2004 cam sensor, cam sensor, angle sensor

hello,
we had the cam sensor replaced, but the warning light keeps on coming back on. we were told that the engine is perfect...and that the light could be disconnected. is this advisable and is it an easy job? many thanks..peter

If the cam angle sensor is showing a code either the new one is defective or it was installed wrong or the wiring or connector is bad.  I would not disconnect the light.  The light tells you that the computer is reading an error.  Also, when this happens the car goes into limp mode and performance drops as well as fuel economy.
