Nissan Repair: Car Wont Start, nissan maxima, starter relay

Question
I have a 1997 Nissan Maxima.  The car was bought new and has been taken care of by me.  The problem, car won't start.  Two days before the car died, the car began to start sluggishly.  Once it started, it ran a little rough but settled out very quickly.  What I did: 1. Removed the starter/relay assembly and had it tested.  It passed.
2. Checked the battery (3 months old), tested O.K.
3. Checked for bad fuse, none found.  4. Cleaned and tightened all battery connections.  Question: What have I missed.  Does this model have a hard to get to or find fusible link?  Could the starter switch be the problem?  This model has a hard to get to alternator.  If I can get it out, can it be tested?

Answer
E.T.

I would check the starter again if the battery tested good and is fully charged.  Other causes could be the connections at the battery and starter.  Also, check the starter relay for good connection.  Lastly, drive down to Autozone or Checker and have them do a free electrical inspection.  You could have a master fuse not making good connection so check the positive battery cable.
