Nissan Repair: Nissan Sentra 98 Dashboard light not worknig, nissan sentra, dashboard light

I have Nissan Sentra 98 which I bought 1.5 yrs back. The dashboard light for it was good when I bought it but then it started giving trouble. 6 month back it was coming and going in between drives. But from last 2-3 months its not coming at all but one day surprisingly it came back and then went again next day and now its not working at all. I am not getting how to repair this.

If the lights on the instrument cluster are intermittent and now have failed would lead me to several causes.  The first one is the instrument light dimmer, the second is the headlight switch itself.  Lastly, the cluster could have a bad connection.  These are the most common causes, in order, of how they normally fail.
