Nissan Repair: 94 Altima Error Codes after Distributor replacement, throttle position sensor, nissan cars

Question
Ok, the codes thrown were 34 and 43, the knock sensor and the throttle position sensor. There weren't any error codes before he worked on it. Is either of those something that he could have caused? Also, would the TPS effect the shifting of the tranny at all? Just wondering... could explain that part at least.

Answer
Alan,

The phase of the moon?  Really, there is nothing he could have done to cause either problem.  Nissan cars are known to eat knock sensors.  The throttle position sensor is probably worn out.  They only last about 12 years if you are lucky.  I would purchase the parts and replace yours.  If you have time and can wait rockauto.com or courtesyparts.com are both good and cheap sources for parts.
