Nissan Repair: Fuel Pump, wire tap, fuel pump

Question
I checked for power on my fuel pump for my 95 altima by removing the plate under the back seat and nothing also when i turn the car on there is not one drip of gas moving through any lines other than the return line to my tank but I am sure that is just gravity i have checked the pump relay and its fine so I am wondering if i should replace the fuel pump or if maybe it could be the wiring or the harness and how i would check those because i don't want to dish out $425.00 for a pump if i don't really need one hopefully you can help thanks.

P.S all fuses are good also new air and fuel filter installed

Answer
Hi Dale -

If you are not getting power to the main fuel wire tap, then it is most likely not the pump. Have you checked the fuel cut off relay, and power there? Fuses are good, but is there power there as well?

Please get back to me so we can go on to the next step.

thanks
