Answer
Hiran,

A vehicle bleeds off 1 percent of the battery per day it is not driven.  So, your battery was at leaset 30 percent down on its charge when you attempted to start it.  It is good to drive a car at least once a week to keep things lubricated and the battery charged.  Also, if you did not have a premium battery, one with lots of cranking amps, that could have contributed to the condition.  With only 50,000km on the car there is no need to replace the sparkplugs at this time.  I would look at doing the change at 80,000 miles.  Also, be sure to purchase good gas/petrol and keep the tank full if you store the vehicle for a month at a time.  This keeps condensation down in the gas tank and prevents rust on the interior of the tank and water in the gas...
