Nissan Repair: traansmission inop, nissan altima, torque converter

I have a 95 Nissan altima GXE. The car will not move in any gear. I never got any indication of a faulty transmission. It always ran fine, then one day it would not move. Have any input? Engine runs fine, transmission doesn't. Thank You

The problem is a blown pump or torque converter.  Basically, it sounds like the transmission is not developing pump pressure.  I would not imagine the shift cable has fell off.  But, you can look under the hood, driver's side, and see the shifter linkage and make sure it is there and connected.  But, for my thoughts it would be the pump or torque converter.
