Nissan Repair: nissan sunny 1990 - fuel and engine meters, pencil eraser, nissan sunny

I have Nissan Sunny 1990 1,4l and this morning my fuel and engine meters didn't work, all other electrics works fine. I checked the fuses and those were fine, but i changed them for sure. Any ideas what could be the fault?? appreciate for your help.

I would remove the instrument cluster and clean the connections with a number 2 pencil eraser by rubbing the connections and blowing off the dust and reinstalling.  If that does not work get a cluster from a wrecking yard.  The latter would mean that the transformer is defective on your cluster.  The cost of repair is $300 bucks and a new one is $600 bucks.  A used one is about $100 bucks.
