Nissan Repair: Speedometer is bouncing ???, wd40, instrument panel

My speedometer is bouncing when i drive.
I don't know what to look for or what to fix.
Can you help me out.

Hi Jay -

Normally that is caused by a dry cable. In order to lubricate it, though, the instrument panel will have to come off to access the cable housing directly behind the instrument panel. Undo the clip and then you can pull the cable out. Lubricate it with a non residue lubricant, such as a silicone base, or graphite base. Do not use WD40, or grease.

You should be good to go after that.
