Nissan Repair: 2000 nissan xterra chk engine light/rough idle, nissan xterra, autozone

my daughter has a 2000 nissan xterra with over 155k miles. svc light came on, she says it has a very rough idle, almost wants to shut off when she is sitting still. says its rough getting up to speed. not sure if this would be a transmission prob or perhaps need to have idle adjusted?

Autozone or Checker will read the code for free.  Email me back with the code and we'll go from there.  They will tell you what is going on and if you purchase the part from them and install it to correct the problem they will clear the code for free too...
