Nissan Repair: Engine stops at low rpm, air control valve, volt ohm meter

Question
My 1995 Nissan Pulsar CJ-II engine stops at low rpm, especially at traffic lights or hold ups. I have had the fuel pump changed two times due to this same problems without any improvement on the initial problem. What could be the problem then?

Answer
Epalitai,

I would check the idle air control valve and the air meter along with cleaning the throttle body and checking the voltage reading on the throttle position switch.  Get a Haynes Manual and a volt ohm meter and follow the instructions for checking each sensor mentioned above.
