Nissan Repair: 1997 nissan pickup flickering brake warning light and charge warning light, brake warning light, nissan pickup

Question
While driving home tonight, both the brake warning light and charge warning light began flickering on intermittently. Sometimes just flickering, occasionally bright, but not staying on very long. It seemed to be happening while going up a grade, but as I mentioned not all the time. I haven't had the opportunity to check brake fluid levels, nor belts since it is night-time. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated - thanks!

You can take the truck to Autozone or Checker for a free electrical inspection.  From my experience I would say the alternator is going out.  But, a free electrical inspection will confirm.  So, do not spend the money on an alternator until you make sure that is what it is...
