Nissan Repair: Nissan skyline problem???!!???, pod air filter, skyline problem

I have a 1995 nissan skyline which has done 130k's, it has started ideling really roughly and sometimes runs really roughly when driving (revs go up and down) sometimes it even cuts out and stalls while driving and ideling. I was told by a not so reliable source that the turbo bearings are starting to seize? do u think this is reasonable or would it more likely be a airflow meter problem or coil. the only mods done in the engine is a pod air filter. i really need some help, thankyou.

The idle could be the injectors or the idle air control valve.  The off idle problems could be associated with a bad distributor.  If the turbo is binding up it would use oil, as in burn it and spit it out the exhaust.  But, it is a 1995 and the turbo is probably in need of a rebuild.  Turbo City in Anaheim would be my thougth since they are cheap and do wonderful work.  Basically half the price of other rebuilds and a quarter of the cost of a new replacement turbo.  Email me back and let me know what you find.
