hi sir i have a 2002 nissan terrano 2 sve and have found there is a creaking and groaning sound coming from the back end when turning corners in forward and reverse if you can help it would be much aprieciated many thanks Drew

You are probably looking at axle bearings for the spindles.  Nissan had an issue with a bearing manufacturer back in 2002-2003 timeframe.  I would disassemble one side and inspect the roller bearings and races for spalling, the hardned surface is wearing away.  Nissan uses great bearings since they have the ability to survive this type of event and not fail in use.  If this is the case, simply replace the bearing and race on each side and the noise will be gone.
