Nissan Repair: o2 sensor, service engline light, emissions test, sensors

I had 2 o2sensors installed a week ago. I took an emissions test and the system is saying the computer isn't reading the sensors and they told me to drive the car for 300 miles. what would cause the sensors not to be read by the computer and is this common?

Hi Denise -

You should take it back to whoever replaced the sensors, ensure that all was done correctly.

Do you have the engine light on?
Try rebooting the computer by removing the ECM fuse, or disconnect the battery for a minute or two.
