Nissan Repair: Infiniti G35 Coupe - Service Engine Soon, Slip, VDC Off appear, infiniti g35 coupe, mass air flow

Question
Probably You are my last chance to solve problem with my G35 Coupe. I am from Poland, and there is not Infiniti service. Nissan can not diagnose this problem, becouse they have not specyfic diagnostic software for this model (Infiniti Will come to Europe this year).
So, I bought my G35 Coupe 4 months ago (2004r., 30K miles). It was after small collission and stayed 6 mouths withouth use before previos user selled them. I change front bumper, two front lamps, radiator support, engine coolant reservoir and Air cleaner body. Air bags was OK. After repair everything is OK except one thing. Sometimes turn on three indicator lights simultaneously: 'Service Engine Soon', 'Slip' and 'VDC OFF'. It happened mostly when I startet engine AGAIN, after some time of parking for example 15 minutes or 1 hour. For example: I drive to the supermarket, parked and after 1 hour I want home -> so I started engine and press gas pedal a bit to drive slowly on the parking, car accelerate a little and drive about 5-10miles/h, after a moment I press gas pedal again to acclelerate but... this time gas pedal dont work, and on the cockpit appear 3 indicators: ENGINE SERVICE SOON, SLIP and VDC OFF. When I press gas pedal for maximum, car doesnt accelerate. I must turn off the engine and after while turn in again. Two indicators (SLIP and VDC OFF) doesnt appear, 'Service Engine Soon' still lights but gas pedal work normally and I can drive .

I must admit, that this problem once appeared after start engine, without press gas pedal.
When I turn off the car Battery (negative) for a few minutes, the SERVICE ENGINE SOON indicator doesnt appear on the panel (till next accident).

I the Nissan service told me, that it was temporary error, and they dont want what is the problem. Propably it may be something wrong with the Mass Air Flow but they are not sure (it is expensive, they price 1000$!).

Answer
Przemyslaw,

The vehicle is drive by wire.  That is, the computer reads where your foot is on the gas pedal and opens the throttle accordingly.
The vechicle dynamic control and slip features keep the vehicle from spining out and the tires from spinning.  This means that there is a sensor that is reading that the tires are slipping.  There are square wave generators at all four wheels.  The computer reads the difference in these and if one is out of range it will throw a code and turn on the lights you describe.  Also, if one of these sensors harness was damaged in the collision you describe or one was not reconnected you will have this problem.  What you are going to need is to look at each brake assembly to make sure there is nothing wrong with the wiring to the ABS sensors at each wheel and the sensors themselves.  If you have access to a Consult II scantool, the Nissan scanner, it would be most helpful in diagnosing the problem.  Also, checkout nissantechinfo.com and get an account to allow you to download the factory service manual.  The cost is $20 bucks for an hour of download time.  The files are in .pdf format so you should have no problem in getting everything you need.  Lastly, if the car was down for six months there is a good chance that the throttle pedal position has to be relearned and this could be a contributor to the problem too.  Get the service manual and reprogram the gas pedal positioning.  If your mass airflow sensor was defective it would not cause the problem you describe.  Check out courtesynissan.com for cheap prices on nissan and infiniti parts.  I do not know if they ship international but they are the most cost effective around for getting you what you need for less money...
