I need to aim headlights on 98 nissan maxima, owner's manual says take to dealer. How do I adjust them

Hi Bill -

Unless you have the devices to measure the alignment the headlights, you should not attempt. There are specific parameters for each lamp, and stringent laws. For instance, the left headlight has to be aligned more to the right side of the vehicle, as you do not want to shine into oncoming traffic.

Adjustment screws are on the top of the headlight assembly. One is for the left to right adjustments, and the other is up and down.
