Nissan Repair: replaced battery and radio doesnt work, 2005 nissan altima, jumper cables

Question
The car would not start so we used the jumper cables and it started.Left car running and then shut it off car wouldn't start.  we replaced the battery and now the car starts but the radio will not work.  All the fuses have been checked and they all are good.  This is on a 2005 nissan altima.  What is the reason for the radio to not work now.  Worked prior to the battery replacemnt

Answer
Nickberger,

Jumping the car with the fuse to the radio could have blown the board on the radio.  Check the radio fuse and if it is good remove the radio and backprobe the harness to fine out if you are getting power.  If you are getting power to the radio it will have to be repaired as there is a fuse internally on the circuit board but unless you are into micro electronics just take it in or get a replacement radio.
