Nissan Repair: nissan micra repair of rear wiper arm, nissan micra, wiper arm

Question
some little darling last night removed my rear wiper arm on my 52 nissan micra. It was left on the road with the spring and the cover.  It does not appear to be broken in any way but I am struggling to get it back on as the spring seem sto short and is too hard to move any ideas? Don't want the expense of a new one when this seems intact

Answer
Hi Sue -

In order to get the arm back on, you will have to bend the arm at the hinge (towards the bottom of the arm). This will allow you to place the arm back on the stud, and once you release it back, should lock into place. Ensure that the wiper is in the proper parked position before you lock it back down.

Hope this helps -
