When its cold it starts right up drive for 15 or 20 min. and it will shut off if I give it gas sometimes it will keep running. But most of the time it just shut off and wont start for about 20 mins and i`m at a loss please help

Answer
Hi Manuel

I suspect it could be the ignition module, especially after you let it sit and it starts again.

To chek it, wait for the no start condition, and pull out a spark plug wire at the plug. Insert a screwdriver til it contacts the termional inside the boot securely. While someone is cranking the engine, hold the screwdriver point about 1/4" away from any metal surface of the engine (Please do not touch any metal surface while doing this!). There should be a spark jumping between the 2 metal surfaces. If not, replace the ignition module located inside the distributor.

Hope this helps!
