Nissan Repair: nissan primera 1994 2.0 sgx key fob, nissan primera 1994, ebay

i have a key fob for the above car that turns off the immobiliser.
the car does not have remote central locking!!
the flashing red light will no longer go out. i've been told it is most likely the key fob needs replacing. i do have a replacement from ebay but i need to recode it. is there any help you can give, either to get the old fob working, bypass the immobiliser or code the other fob.

If the car does not have the factory remote locking system and yours just does the kill the ignition thing would lead me to replace the system.  Frys has the remote setup, to include brain, for fifty bucks.  Trying to match up a remote that is over ten years old will be a pain.
