Nissan Repair: Front Problem and Rear Suspension, nissan maxima, bumpy roads

Question
Two questions: (1996 Nissan Maxima)
First, there is like a clunking sound coming from the rear suspension of my car, every site if checked its all clunking from the front. It only happens on bumps or bumpy roads, whenever the car bounces. I dont know if it the shocks or what, What is this?
Second, there is a clicking/ticking coming from the front of my car. It only happens when i turn, and it only does it if Ive been drving awhile or have turned a lot. What is making this noise and what do I need to get it fixed?

Answer
Brett,

The noise in the back is coming from the struts.  They need to be replaced.  The front noise is the strut tower bearing.  The top of the strut has a bearing that allows the strut to turn when you turn the wheel and these are worn out.  While you are at it I would replace the front struts too and then get an alignment.  A good place to get the work done cheap is Sears when they have one of their sales.  All four struts with an alignment as a package deal.  Or, find a shop you trust unless you are a do it yourselfer.
