Nissan Repair: cooling fAN, coolant temp, nissan maxima

Hi, I'm female who owns a 2000 nissan maxima. I don't know if I'm saying this right but my cooling fan does not shut off. It sounds as though my ac is always on but its not. I was told it could be my coolant temp sensor. I just replaced my radiator and my thermostat. I need help and don't want to get ripped off please help me.

OK, in order for me to give you the right answer, how long does the fan stay on after you turn the engine off? There are several components that make that fan run, including the temperature sensor. Some are designed to run few minutes after the engine shuts off.

So, if you can answer my question above, and also tell me if the fan runs as soon as you turn the ignition on?
