my power window drivers' side does this strange thing- when I roll the window down its fine-but when I go to roll it up, it rolls up completely then kicks back down 1/3 of the way open- its  like a glitch in the system- Its happen before under warranty & nissan fixed it- no charge- I remember them saying something about resetting the switch- Can this be done without the dealer? Thanks!

Yes, but the door panel has to be removed to get to the switch.  There is an access hold at the bottom portion of the door and you press the switch and run the window up to reset the stops.  nissanhelp.com is a place where you can look up the service bulletin on performing the reset.
