Nissan Repair: 1991 240sx distributor cap, 240 sx, distributor cap

I have a 240 sx with the ignition wires coming out of the side of the dist. cap.  How do I remove the cap to be able to replace the wires?

I would replace them as a set adn get the cap and wires from the dealer.  I know it is expensive but they will last as long as the originals.  The side pressed wires are difficult to remove without damage to them.  If you can wait checkout courtesynissan.com for jobber rates and no tax unless you live in Texas.
