Nissan Repair: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, hi aaron, ecm

Question
JUST REPLACED THE STARTER, AND NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. ANY IDEA ON WHAT IT MIGHT BE?

Answer
Hi Aaron -

First of all, please check that any wires near the starter are not disconnected. The CEL monitors quite a bit of sensors, do you know the code displayed?

Secondly, might want to discopnnect the battery and reconnect it again to reboot the ECM. Sometimes it is a nuisance alarm.

If you still experiance problems after this, then give me the year, make and model of your vehicle and I will research further.

Hope this helps -
