Nissan Repair: nissan maxima, nissan maxima, fusible link

i have a 1993 nissan maxima and i need help.. i have no brake lights, my dash board is completly out, i basically have nothing electrical in the car except for head lights.. i don't know what i should do..... none of the mechanics that i live near can look at the car.... is there any way u can tell me what i should do.....

Hi Kenny -

Look for the fusible link and check that. It should be located in or near where all the large circuit relays and fuses are in the engine compartment near the battery. Fusible links could look like a wire, maybe 10 gauge, so look carefully. It would help if you have a light circuit tester, so you can check each separately.
