Nissan Repair: 2002 Maxima, misalignment, brake pads

Question
Thanks for your answer the other day Calvin.  I tried spraying wd-40 on the belts but the sound didn't go away.  I drove it today and it sounds like the calipars or brake pads are making the noise.  I don't understand though because the shops said they were ok.  Could a misalignment, axel or anything else connected to the wheel cause a grinding squeal whether the brakes are applied?  Also only when I turn the wheel to the right does a loud rubbing sound occur.  Thanks again.

Answer
Hi Theo -

Forgive me if I already asked this question, but does the car only make this noise while the brakes are applied, or when it is moving or still? When you are at a stop and turn the wheel from side to side, does the noise come out?

Let me know - You may email me at cjiwash@yahoo.com if it is easier for you -
