Nissan Repair: trouble moving, nissan hardbody pickup, vacuum hoses

Question
I have a 1986 Nissan Hardbody Pickup and i have had it almost a year...just recently i have gotten to the point where whenever i stop...when i try to move the truck shakes almost like its not getting gas when i let the clutch out...so naturally i thought fuel pump, maybe fuel filter, but when i checked it...there is no problem with those, with it being electrical, most times if its broken it wont start right?...well we checked the vacuum hoses and made sure they were connected and still have no luck, if you have any thought as to what might help it is greatly appreciated

Answer
Hi Nick -

I am assuming that the car runs rough at idle, and is OK when driving at, say 25mph?

First of all I would like you to check a little deeper for a vaccuum leak. Take carb cleaner or starting fluid, and spray various areas of your engine while it is running. If you spray one area, and the idle improves, you have found a vaccuum leak in that area.

Secondly, couls you answer the question above and these to continue on with the diagnosis?

When was your last tune up?
Does the car miss going up a hill, or under acceleration?
Does it only shake while you are releasing the clutch, or all the time?

Thanks Nick, answers to these questions will help me.
