2000 nissan sentra gxe,first the car had no pull going up hills now the car will not accelerate and dies after rpm is 40.Thank you

First, I would check for codes if the check engine light is on.  Autozone or Checker will check the codes for free.  Second, if the car is cutting out and dies when you say I would make sure the plugs, wires and such are new.  If they are in good condition I would check for fuel pressure and to make sure the converter is not melted.  Email me back with what you find.
