Nissan Repair: 1990 Nissan Primera, cold start, fuel pump

i have a 1990 nissan primera that just shuts off after starting.

Does this only happen when the vehicle is cold, or if it has been sitting for a few hours?
It seems like your cold start valve is not working.

Other things you might want to check is the fuel pump, or simply a tune up - spark plugs, cap and rotor.

I would suggest do the tune up first, and then if that doesn;t work, check the more elaborate items described above.
