Nissan Repair: 1990 nissan pathfinder xe-v6 transmission, nissan pathfinder, two cents

hello...i have a 1990 nissan pathfinder xe-v6 that i trying to decide if it's worth fixing or not. the transmission will operate in every gear except reverse.one day it was
driving fine then the next day,it wouldn't go in reverse.

If the Pathfinder is in good working order other than the transmission I would put out the funds for the transmission.  If the rest of the vehicle is trashed then I would step off the vehicle.  To get reverse corrected the transmission will have to be pulled and the cost will be $1000 to $2000 depending on what you need.  Just my two cents on cost of maintenance.
