Nissan Repair: Suspension, sway bar links, nissan frontier

Question
2000 Nissan Frontier: When I push up and down on the front or rear of my truck it is extremely springy.  A friend mentioned something about sway bar links.  Do I need to look at the whole suspension or is the problem more simple?

Answer
Ben,

If there is little resistance the the truck bounces the shocks need to be replaced.  The anti-sway bar keeps the vehicle from leaning too much in a corner.  If the bushings on it were worn out the truck would lean excessively.  You probably just need shocks.
