Nissan Repair: brake light, brake light switch, altima gxe

i have a 95 altima gxe.  both rear parking lights go out in the edge when i brake. when i release the brake, light come on, everything is ok.  any suggestions?  also, i had just replace a socket for the passenger headlight, but he did not do it right. i donot know if that matters. thank you.

The headlight should not cause a problem with the brake lights.  I would check the brake light bulbs to make sure there is not a shorted filament where one is touching the other, internally, in the bulb.  Check the sockets and bulbs and email me back with what you find. Also, check the brake light switch for proper operation.  If it shorts it will cause both lights to fail and then come back on when it is released.
