Nissan Repair: 1994 Altima, balancing tires, shifting gears

Question
Okay I'm going to tell you all the problems and hopefully you can help me. Firstly, there appears to be a short sometimes the clock, radio, and heat do not work. When this happens the car makes a clanking noise when shifting gears and when in park it sounds like you tried to turn on a car that was already running. Secondly the heat and air only work on 4. Thirdly the car shakes over 60 most say this can be fixed by balancing tires but maybe all of this is related. Fourthly my gas hand does not read properly. Lastly, my key only works on the passenger side door. I bought this car used for an excellent price and do not mind putting the work into it. Hope you can help thanks.

Answer
Tyffanie,

The first problem is probably the ignition not returning to the run position.  Try moving the key back slightly.  The blower resistor needs to be replaced.  It is under the dash on the passenger ide on the blower box.  The tires probably need to be balanced or replaced.
