Nissan Repair: 97 infinite wont start, battery cable, solenoid

Question
I have a 97 I30. I replaced the brushes & solenoid on the starter but hooked the battery cable up to the wrong stud  on the solenoid, causing a backfeed thru the wire that comes from the ignition switch to the solenoid.  The starter is working fine now but the engine won't fire.  If it does hit/fire it backfires all the way back thru the air box.  It acts as if the timing is off.  Any ideas on were to start looking?

Answer
Jake,

I hope the computer is not cooked.  But, first you need to check the fuses and fuse links at the battery.  When the key is turned on to start the coils get an extra boost when the starter turns.  Then, at run mode the voltage drops.  Check all associated fuses and fuse links and email me back.
